Why I love butterflies?

Butterflies are beautiful

They represent freedom

They have been through dark places to get to the light

They symbolize spiritual rebirth

They have colors that sparkle in the Son

They are fragile, but amazingly strong

Light and playful

They drink of the nectar, symbolic of the Holy Spirit

They flight and soar above, in the wind, like the wind of the spirit

They are all different

They are free

They bring joy

Laughter

Delight

Peace

I REALLY want to be a butterfly, don’t you?! butterfly012.gif child butterfly image by lumpy119

I love butterflies because they teach how fleeting life is and how precious every moment.

Every spring we go to the Krohn’s Conservatory Butterfly show in Cincinnati. This year was butterflies from Asia. My daughter was on cloud nine when several landed on her at once.

Buddy’s I think we all identify with Butterflies. We are shedding our cocoon of fat and emerging with our beautiful and colorful wings. Chrisie this was an inspiring post. Thank you.

I always wanted to find a place a butterfly farm totake my kids where you get a necter cup and get to feed them…I thought that would be really cool thing to do.

I always wanted to find a butterfly farm that we could take the kids to…that you can feed the butterfly’s necter and just watch them flutter around.

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty. ~Maya Angelou

There is something almost magical about butterflies. When I’m out in the garden and one flutters by, I stand so still and almost hold my breath in wonder. I once had one land on my sleeve, it was an amazing feeling. You will? Chrisie, you already have. :)

I love butterflies and moths and think that they are truly one of God’s miracles. You and I have talked about this a lot. I have always really liked you because you understand them the way I do.
