So….what have you done?

It was very hard to get up and out today.  Rainy outside and I was still so tired.  But I did it anyway.  Packed my gym bag.  Worked outside in the rain…but got it all done.

The sun came out finally at the garden center, and I was outside looking at the pansies…trying to decide the color I will use for my yard this year.  Leaning toward the orange, yellow, burgandy ones. 

When a beautiful butterfly came by…  He was big and orange and landed right beside me, on one of the pansies.  It was like a kiss from God.  A reminder that He is with me.  So grateful!

Went to meet with the trainer, but had the time wrong…so she let me reschedule…she is being so nice to me(I noticed and thanked her…she said, she was trying:)!  So tomorrow we will get together…which is good…since I am still hurting a little.  I told her I was tired and she said…go home and take a nap.

So I am on my way to get one in…hopefully.  So tired…I really need some rest!  I will be back to work at 6:00pm!

Yesterday, it was hard for me to write the blog…saying goodbye, but I had resolved to do it…hoping that the person would go away if I did.   It wasn’t emotional manipulation…or some type of trick.  It was genuine and purposeful…and serious.  So glad Dr. Marc took care of it so I could keep on keeping on here! 

THANK you SO much for your kindness.  I REALLY apprecitate it. 

 I know, they probably are still around, watching and reading…but that is ok.  God is with me and He is looking out for me!

 Yesterday it was back to the trainer…we worked out and talked.  Felt much better this time…for some reason, the break seemed to do us both good.  She worked my lower body…and it hit me tonight.  ouch.

We talked about my food…and she said that she thinks I SHOULD be eating more calories…at least 1700.  I am sooooo out of the habit of trying to keep track of my food…I think I am over it.  The whole journaling my food.  Thinking that I just need a plan…and then to just stick to it.   That way I do not have to write it down…it is pre-determined for me.   Now…if I can just find time to do that….ha!

I worked my first night at Coldwater.  It was interesting.  I will just say, not sure I will mesh with the people that work there.  There are some strong personalities.  Wondering if this is a good decision or not…AND my feet really hurt.

My day started early, with the manual labor job, and then to the mall for the other.  Maybe I have bitten off more than I can chew?

Well…I have to go to bed.  Tomorrow I work manual labor, in the rain! from 8-12:30, then train from 1:00-1:30…plus do some cardio (than reminds me, I need to pack my gym bag)–Then it is off to work again with the Town from 6-10.  Phew…

So glad things chilled out here in BS Land!  I hope and pray that this is the end of it all.  The drama and game playing.  I need support and a place I can just be me.

OMG, we lost a lot of weight as a group!  Way to go everyone!

Working so much now!  Don’t mind it really.  But, just wishing I had some me time.  Worked today from 9-3 and then again from 6-10…tomorrow…I will work during the day, but not at night, but once I get home, I will probably be in the kitchen cooking a lot of my food for the week.  Sunday I start my training at Coldwater Creek.  Monday I get to go on a trip with the Seniors again.  8-3:00pm, and then work again from 6-10.  Phew….made me tired just typing all that:)

So grateful though, God is so good.  He provides.  He provides so much.   A way of escape when you are tempted!  Food, clothes…wisdom, love…He says, all that you need really, He will provide.

Today at work, there was a new girl there.  We were talking.  She was telling me some personal stuff about her life, and I was sharing who I am with her.  One of the things that came up was that I was a Christian…(sorry, if that offends anyone.  But it is the truth…and who I am.  Above ALL things.  ALL things.  So you might not want to read my blogs if you are not into that kinda thing.  I really am…nothing is going to stop me from being me. )

Anyway, back to what i am wanting to share.  This young lady is going through some very hard times.  She is hurting…her husband is in prison.  There is just a lot going on in her life.  I felt for her.  I wanted to help her…but again.  I just have to pray that God helps her. 

I bought her lunch, and we ended up sitting on a picnic table outside.  There was another co-worker there…and we started talking…He is a believer too.  But, he is one of these that teaches and preaches all the time.  To people that don’t want to hear it.  It grieved me.  For this woman to hear all he was saying–it was like someone was speaking a foreign language to her…loudly…and she just endured it. 

Later, I told her that I am not like him…I mean I agree with what he was saying, but I have learned that only God can woo people to Him.  And I can only do what I “see” God doing.  And that unless God “tells” me what to do…well, then, I am just to love that person….not teach, preach, force or manipulate…that is definitely not God’s way.

She listened.  And then later, after work…she called me. 

And she started confiding more of what was in her heart with me.  And asking me questions.  I told her that I would love to pray for her…but that I did not want to make her uncomfortable…so I would pray for her after I got off the phone with her.  One of the things she did say to me was that she had to get her life straight before she could have a relationship with God.  I told her, it isn’t like that…that before I got saved, I expected God to be a mean, judging, lightining bolt kinda God.    But He isn’t like that at all.  I told her, He is really like the best Dad you could ever imagine…there to listen to you and guide you through your life…

she said, “That sound’s good.” 

yes…it does.

Y,know what? Now that I think about it, maybe it isn’t me time I am really wanting…

maybe it is just some time with my Heavenly Daddy that I am truly longing for…
