The scale is moving down!!!

Well…Today the scale is down 2 since the beginning of the week. But I will not celebrate until I see it go down 4 more to 234. That would put me below the lowest weight I have gotten to, since I started.
Maybe the training is helping? I have been monitoring my food and I have been eating more fat than I am supposed to this week. Pretty good with the cals…but way up on the fat.
It is hard to eat more protein and stay in the fat range. Well, tomorrow starts a new week…so I can work on it again.
I really want to try to get some classes in. I read that the BodyPump class is the best fat burning class ever:

http://www.lesmills.com/southeast/en/members/bodypump/bodypump-group-fitness-program.aspx
- BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!
- a rapid fat-burning class…verified as providing the fastest fat loss of any fitness class!!!
- Burn up to 600 calories per class for fat loss
- Improve your strength
- Improve your general fitness
- Shape and tone your muscles
- Improve your bone density (helps ward off osteoporosis)
- Gives you a sense of achievement
And it is cheaper than a personal trainer–it is FREE with my membership! So I need to get my calendar out, and the class schedule…and just make some appointments with myself–and then keep them! Ok here are the times and days they are available that work with my schedule
Monday at 10:00 am
Weds at 9:30 am (training at 11:00am so not sure)
Friday at 10:30 am (training at 12:30)
Sat at 10:00 am (definitely do this one)
YEAH! I have put them on my calendar!
There are some other classes that look interesting…bodyflow, bodycombat and bodyattack…
but I will just focus on this one for now:)
So…my goals for this week:
- Eat better…less fat!
- Plan ahead for exercise and food…then stick to the plan
- Take some body pump classes
- Do more cardio
- Log my food right away…so I won’t forget what I ate later
- Get more sleep!
Hope the scale starts to move more this week!!!
Have a great Labor day–and for all the people in the path of the Hurricane…you are in my prayers!
I find I can add a lot of protein by eating egg beaters…. no fat, 16 grams of protein and only 2 points in 1/2 cup. Really good scrambled in butter flavored Crisco spray with a piece of whole grain toast…I usually have that for breakfast, with some fruit. You can also add it to skim milk (I use Almond Breeze Vanilla Unsweetened… no fat, and only 40 cals per cup) with a little splenda and vanilla for a nice treat. (shake it real good) Sort of like eggnog. Well, off to church, have a great day.

The scrambled ones sound good! I will put that on my meal plan.
I also love my peanut butter in the morning…and someone posted about a low fat one at trader joes…I thought I’d try it!
Thanks Sandy!
So you already know that I think you rock!! And everyday I think you rock more than the day before! I think it is great that the scale is moving downward for you!! I wish the trend would head this way…LOL
As for the Bodypump class I took them for a while when I lived in NC…and they are GREAT!! Kicked my butt but I loved that even though you are in a class you can tailor it to meet your needs…so it becomes a personalized workout….let me know how you like it - I think you will love it…and the music is great too!!
You are doing so well - I am really inspired by you!!!
Congrats on the weight loss! It wont be long and you will be down those four that you want to lose!! Keep up the great work!
Body pump is my mom’s favorite class and she is in SUPER DOOPER shape! Better than me and most of my friends. I went once a few years ago when I was doing aerobics and it was great. You can do as much or as little based on your fitness, too! You go for it Chrisie - you can do anything!!!
Big smile…Chrisie…you know you rock girl!! whoo hoo…2 lbs down…thats great!!
I have never heard of these class…but, from what everyone said..and what you wrote…oh man…sounds like a major workout…so girl..you just pat yourself on the back for me cause you just keep trying and getting better and better!!
Love Debbie
You go, girl! I know you can do it!

Great job on the 2 lb. loss!
Big HUGS!
I too use the egg beaters to get in lots of protein without getting in extra fat. Most of my protein comes from the egg beaters, chicken breast that is skinless and boneless and then my Zone Perfect Protein bars. I find high protein works so well for me. The egg beaters I eat daily, I scramble up 2 eggs worth (1/2 cup) with some onion, green pepper, and mushroom. Add some salsa and mmmm it’s sooooo good!
That class sounds like so much fun and with it being an added benefit to your membership rather than costing more money, I say go for it!
Congrats on the 2 lb loss!!!

yeeeeaaaayyyyy 2lbs gone for good! That’s fantastic girlie!!! Remember, not all fats are bad fats! We need fat to keep us feeling good too!
You are doing awesome with your program and exercise. We don’t have that class here at the Y, but if I were there with you I’d take it! Congrats on the loss of 2 lbs.
If you can dream it you can do it.
Congrats on the 2 lbs and on your workout plans too.
Good for you!
I too love egg beaters for protein and they taste so good.
Keep up the great work!

Lori
Went shopping and got the egg beaters! Also got the peanut butter that only 2 grams of fat!
It is a little sweet for me…so I added some all natural smuckers peanut butter.
Oh yeah…I also got the cinnamon raisin Ezekiel bread too. It is great!
I am a big fan of egg whites and fish and they are low in fat. I hear ya though I too need to cut a little of that fat from my diet. Healthy yes, but still a bit high. I am not counting but I can just tell. Anyways, we can do it.
Have a happy and healthy week Chrisie! *hugs*
Congrats on the loss as well!
Keep it up.
WOW WOMAN! 2 lbs gone! EXCELLENT!
CONGRATS!!! Keep it up!
