I survived my first day with the personal trainer…

Mostly cause all we did was put our schedule together and talk a little!  Oh yeah, and take care of the business end of it.  Wednesday will be my first REAL start day!

I told my  trainer what I’d been doing and she said, “All that is going to change, I am going to completely redo your whole cardio routine.”

WHAT?   You mean you are going to make me do stuff I don’t want to?  But I really like the treadmill.

Yep…that is why your scale stopped moving.   You gotta trust me.

Oh no!  I have never been good at trusting anyone!   Kindov an independent thinking type…oh my…better start praying more now.   Does anyone know that song…The Potter’s Hand…thinking of this part:

Make me, mold me, use me, fill me
I give myself to the Potter’s Hand
Mold me, guide me, lead me, walk beside me
I give my life to the Potter’s hand

After we were done…I went ahead and worked out anyway Today was my interval day, and drumroll please….

I ran 7.6 mph…still only for a short time…but I did it!  And it wasn’t as hard as I thought it might be!  Woop Woop!!!!  What I do is I start at 3 then got to 4.5 then back to 3.6, then up to 5.6 then down to 4….well you get the idea…and I just keep intensifying the workout…until I am really going at it!   I can honestly say I was running!!!  Wow!

…and then it was off to the the stair machine…for 15 mins…I did 28 flights.  I know that is not that great…but I am just starting on it…

I AM feeling better, especially after the work out.  Still cramping and my head is hurting…but I will survive!

I am making an appointment with Mohammed to get my hair even lighter…this time hubby is coming along.

Yikes…big changes!  Ok…blessings and for today, embrace change, it is good!

So happy you went to the first appointment. That is the hardest one. :) You will do fine. I can see you running the whole 5k now! Each time it gets hard or you feel like giving up just picture yourself running the whole 5k strong and with confidence. If you can dream it you can do it!

It is going to be hard at first trusting your trainer and she might drive you a little mad making you do things you never thought you could do. But, it’s what you pay her for hehe, so hang in there and get busy! :P I’m sure you’re going to be just fine and I betcha that scale is going to move pretty darn nicely! I’m so proud of you, keep it up!!!

TRUST your trainer. I did trust mine and I am glad I did.

You will learn so much about the way your body works and the muscles. Use every minute of your session to put 100% in.

    How amazing!!!

I am VERY impressed with you getting up so high on the treadmill - I get to 4.7 and get scared! WAY TO GO!

And 28 flights of stairs?? 15 minutes??? Dang - I need YOU for a workout buddy! You’d whoop my butt!

Now you’re getting a trainer - you’ll be doing even better! I’m so happy for you :)
