Vacation is over, time to face the scale…

Hey Buddies!!!!

Just a quick hello I mean, “Goodnight” on the way to bed.  The drive was good–and it feels great to be home…

I read a book outloud to my husband on the way home.  It is incredible…Called THE SHACK.  We were both crying and laughing…can’t wait to see how it ends.

I was out of control on the trip with my food…didn’t take my scale, so tomorrow it is a day of reckoning for me…not looking forward to it.   But…I gotta see what it says.  Time to refocus and get serious.  I want to start the Biggest Loser plan ASAP, but it might be Monday before I get it all together.   I did manage to get a quick workout in before I left and ran again for 6.5mph 3 times in a short 25 min workout…but it seems to be getting easier.  I am ready to let go of the podrunner training…or take it up a notch, cause the music is really slowing me down.

Tomorrow I have to work all day…so I NEED to go to sleep–but I want to see how the book ends!!!!   Here is a website that talks about it…

Blessings!

ok, I survived the weigh in…up a little, but not as bad as I feared. Still within the 5lbs that I lose and gain over and over! Ok…gotta go to work! Be on later!

That book is truly incredible. I read it a couple of months ago, loved it so much that I got two extra copies so that my husband can read one in Iraq. They’ve got a little area in one of the tents over there so that people can leave books for other people to pick up and read, kind of like a book exchange. So the second copy was for that. We each need our own copies to be able to read over and over. We figure when he finally gets to come home again he can leave his copy there for others to read, too. I was even thinking of getting a copy for everyone I give Christmas presents to! Truly a phenomenal book!

Congrats on surviving your weigh in!!! It’s all good even though up a little, because you and your hubby have been having some really good bonding time between yourselves, with other Christians, and with the Lord. :o)

OMG!!!! That is the BEST book that I have ever read in my life, and I read alot. Now I can’t wait until you get to the end. Be sure to write again. I talked to someone else who had read it, and she told me something about the end that totally flew over my head. It made sense, but I never would have seen it that way. Like Luvtlee, I thought of buying a bunch of copies to just give away, but never thought of doing it for Christmas. That’s a great idea. How did you guys end up reading it?
