Last night, I met one of my Buddyslim heroes!!!!
Last night I got to hang out with one of my heroes here on Buddyslim!!!!
She is such an inspiration to me, but so humble…she will hate this!:) sorry Dorey!
We went out to eat at one of her favorite places, and she ordered her food with the precision of a surgeon. She is amazing! Just as amazing in person as she is on here!
What a gift to meet someone who has lost over 85 lbs!!! She is so serious about her commitment…she makes me want it too.
I love her and am so grateful I got to wrap my arms around her and hug her in person! What a blessing!!!!!
She even came with me to the revival…even though it isn’t the way she worships, she was willing to share my faith with me! We both saw women there, and said, we are going to look like that. And I know she will. She is determined and focused—with her eye on the prize!

Tonight is my last night at the revival…but I can tell it has done something in me! Today, my husband and I witnessed to a young man…and the Lord was telling me what to say to him. It was powerful.Then after that, we led a man to the Lord in the lobby of the resort. He was so ready for the Lord, he was a ripe fruit…and God just picked him. His name was Anthony…pray for Anthony and Donny!!!!

I am sitting in the meeting right now…it is getting ready to start. I have my laptop on my lap…ha…and I am getting ready to worship. I pray as you read this, you will experience the peace, joy, love and healing of the Lord!

I can remember when I was younger and more spiritual I went to a mission that came to our locality. Every morning before school I’d go to the mass they said, and it really had a profound affect on me. It was so different and so uplifting.
I’m thinking about revisiting my faith, and blogs like this are giving me the gentle push in the right direction that I need!

I have thought about meeting buddies from here as well somewhere down the road. I think we should all make it a plan….a purpose to pick out one person who lives within an area that we think we could afford to go visit and go see them. I am planning to. I have a few in mind and who knows, I may be able to catch up with them sometime next year or so.
I’m glad you two got to meet up. Sounds like you are having a great revival there. Praise God for the wonderful blessings He has bestowed upon you there.

I think that is fantastic. I agree with Sandi, we should all see if there is at least 1 buddy that lives near us that we can arrange a meeting. Sounds like it was a wonderful meeting!
