i think I am in a slump

No exercise again today.  But less food…and carbs…much less…

Last night was full of drama here…

My hubby let the kittie, Maestro (we finally decided…and then thought about houdini for a while: ) out and he got away last night…so I was up all night worried…

He finally came home at noon.  I thought he was gone for good.  Husband didn’t know to watch him when he goes out to play.  He felt so bad about it.

So…I went to bed after the kitty came home.

Had dinner when I got up and not much else, and I gotta go back to bed…cause I have to work tomorrow.  So…there is no time for exercise.

The scale was kind to me today.  Only 2 lbs up…which is really good considering the carb fest I had yesterday…and the weird sleep schedule.

Tomorrow it will probably be back down since I didn’t eat too much today!   I gotta get with it…

One of my buds here sent me her food plan for my body type and I am going to do it within my guidelines, cause she is inspirational!  Her graph looks like mount everest!!!!  Thank you friend: )  Hopefully that will help me refocus!

AND tomorrow I ALREADY wrote in my food/exercise diary…in ink…I will exercise for 70 mins!!!   That’s a commitment!

Have a great weekend everyone!

I am right there with ya, Chrisie!
Everbody needs a break once in awhile… take a breather. Set a reasonable goal to get you halfway from where you are emotionally to where you want to be. Make it manageable.

Its so easy to get attached to cats you know! 2lbs is not a biggie - i call days like this couch potatoe day - but still make sure I do the basic like for for 45 min walk .. !

I am so glad your kittie came home. Pets are like children, and we worry about them so much. As for the slump, we all go through it. The important thing is you realize your there, and know what you have to do to get out. You will do it. I know you will!!!

Shake it off and move on. That is in the past and now is the present. You can do it…you have lost weight before…you will lose more…and you will accomplish your goal. You are strong and run 5k races! There isn’t anything you can’t do girl :)

If you don’t believe it just keep repeating that to yourself…I am strong, I run 5k races…I can do anything. I place affirmations like that all around my house so I’m focuses and positive. They might help.
