If I was a dwarf, today I’d be SLEEPY

He was one of them right?

I am soooo tired.   I don’t know when was the last time I got 8 hours in a row.  Wow…that would be nice.  It sure would make me feel more like exercising and eating right.

Being married is an adjustment…I am still not used to having someone else in my bed…and in Aug…it will be one year.  I am a super light sleeper and my husband seems to be a very loud one…or so it seems to me: )

ok…enough whining….

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am off for a short mini-vaca with my husband and parents.  We will be on the coast of NC.    My mom and dad have a little place on the waterway…anyway….

Anxious about the food…my mom…the original food pusher in the family…has already told me we are having hamburgers and hotdogs today for dinner.  I went to the store last night and armed myself with some low fat dogs, light buns, skim milk, and other necessities to win this battle against my well meaning, but totally unaware mom.

Also worried about even less sleep.  There is only one room good for sleep and my parents get that one…so we will be up with the sun…yeah

And as far as exercise…I plan to walk on the beach as much as possible!!!

I will have limited access to the website…so I will be MIA!  I will be taking my laptop….but I don’t know how much time I will get on-line.

Should be back online on Weds…God willing and the creek don’t rise.  (inside joke:  My parent’s place is on south creek rd…ok…not funny…but did I mention that I was sleep deprived??? hmmmm?)

Blessings!!!!  That pic…is so how I feel right now…where’s the coffee!!!????

    You crack me up, Chrisie!

Hmm, ok if you’re Sleepy, can I be Sloth? He was one of them, wasn’t he?? ;)

Your comment about married life and sharing a bed resonates… my wife reminds me ALL the time about how in the weeks after we began sharing a home that I kept saying “I’m not used to having someone here all night… I don’t think this is gonna work!!”

We just bought a bigger bed! :)

Good luck on the road trip. Anymore, I just shoot for holding steady (no or little gain). Anything better is a bonus!

I just had my husband read this…cause that has been his mantra…”we need a bigger bed”…we even talked about putting 2 queens together to make one…ha  ! But then we’d need a bigger bedroom, which means a bigger house…oh my!

Thanks for the advice…I just put some food in little baggies so I will have my own stash…in case I need it! Getting ready to pack up all my fat free friends!

Enjoy your trip Chrisie. I hear you about being a light sleeper. How about a white noise device? A giant bed is another solution. Thick curtains…

I have a dear friend who is 82. Her husband passed away a few years ago, but she tells me she always slept better when he was snoring away next to her…. because she knew right where he was. ;)

better to be sleepy than dopey! Sounds like you can get in all the right exercise to burn off those hamburgers! i am sure you will be fine, and if not, you can start over again when you get back on Wednesday! Have fun out there!

This time of year in New England I feel more like Sneezy. The breathe right strips that they sell are a life saver, they really work. No more audible snoring in this house. If all else fails, the ear wax they sell is a real noise prohibiter too. Have a great vaca, I’ll miss ya! All else fails, you can show him the coach, just kidding!

Cute pix! You are just so lucky to even have a husband to listen to in bed…I crawl into bed alone each night. I wish I had someone to bother me :)
